Available Licenses

In Utah there are 3 types of licenses available. They are as follows:

• Sales Agent - Sales agents are typically licensees that are just involved in helping people buy and sell properties.

• Principal Broker - Principal Brokers direct and supervise a real estate office with agents working under them.

• Associate Broker - Associate Brokers are licensed Brokers that do not direct or supervise an office like a principal broker does.

Real Estate Titles Explained

Keep in mind that not all licensees are Realtors® or members of the National Association of Realtors®. Members of the National Association of Realtors® are known as Realtors®, whereas an agent that is not a member of this association is simply called a real estate agent.
