Qualifications for Licensure

In order to protect the public, each state has their own qualifications for licensure. Utah has set minimum qualifications for licensure in the categories of character and competency.

These qualifications of character and competency allow the state to license individuals who likely will be ethical and reputable real estate agents. When these requirements of character and competency are achieved along with the required education and training, a person is qualified to receive a real estate license to begin conducting real estate transactions.
